Expansion to result in 384 new engineering jobs

Autoliv plans to invest USD22.6 million to consolidate its operations at four locations into a single location near Detroit, Michigan (United States), Automotive News reported on 28 June. The Sweden-based supplier will vacate four leased properties, two each in Farmington Hills and Southfield, both in Michigan, to relocate to a newly constructed 188,000 square foot facility, also taken on lease, in Southfield. The consolidation will allow the company to bring its entire automotive electronics operations in Michigan under one roof.
