HERE partners with Mapillary to generate map data using images
Two companies form partnership following a pilot project last year
HERE is partnering with Mapillary to generate map data from images contributed by their communities and processed with computer vision, the company announced in a press release on 27 June. Under the partnership, Mapillary will provide HERE Map Creator community with access to its database of 150 million street level images to add more details to map, resulting in greater coverage and improved quality.
