Project placed to be the first vehicle-to-infrastructure connected work zone in United States

Canadian auto component supplier Magna will collaborate with the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) and 3M for a vehicle connectivity and safety project, according to a press release from the company on 29 June. According to the release, this project will be the United States’ first vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I) connected work zone slated to be built along a three-mile section of I-75 in Oakland County located in Michigan (United States).
