State’s governor signed the ‘Assembly Bill 69’ into law earlier this month

US state Nevada has passed a legislation, Assembly Bill 69, which will allow testing and deployment of fully self-driving vehicles on the state’s public roads, reports Las Vegas Sun. Earlier this month, the Nevada’s governor Brian Sandoval signed the bill into a law. “With safety at the forefront, we have created the opportunity for innovative companies to not only test and operate their autonomous vehicles in our state, but also to conduct the research and development, in partnership with our universities, that will move driverless technology from exciting concept to reality,” Sandoval said.
