LG Electronics to supply advanced cameras to Germany-based automaker
Company’s ADAS camera modules leverage its several years of experience in mobile communication, image recognition and connectivity
LG Electronics will supply ADAS (advanced driver assistance system) camera modules and related software to a premium German automaker’s next generation vehicles, the South Korean electronics company said in a press release last week. The company’s ADAS camera helps drivers make better decisions and enhance safety on the road. LG’s camera supports several new functions in vehicles, including automatic emergency braking (AEB), lane keeping assist (LKA), traffic sign recognition, and high beam assist (HBA). LG has not disclosed the identity of its customer, citing business confidentiality.
