Tesla delivers 22,000 vehicles in Q2, to begin Model 3 production this week
Company blames production constraint for 100 kWh battery packs for less-than-expected growth in delivery in Q2
Tesla delivered over 22,000 vehicles in the second quarter (Q2) ended 30 June 2017, up 53% y/y, the US-based electric carmaker said in a press release. The deliveries included over 12,000 units of Model S sedan and over 10,000 Model X SUVs. Tesla delivered around 47,100 electric cars in the first six months of 2017.
