German firm innogy launches EV charging subsidiary in US
Subsidiary will initially focus on states that have stipulated zero-emission requirement for new vehicles
Germany-based energy firm innogy has entered the US electric vehicle (EV) market, the company said in a press release on 6 July. The company has set up a new subsidiary, innogy e-mobility USA LLC, which is based in Los Angeles, California. The subsidiary will produce, market and operate charging points for EVs. It will initially focus on states that have stipulated zero-emission requirement for new vehicles.
