Uber, Yandex agree to merge ride-sharing business in Russia and four other neighboring countries
Two companies to combine their businesses into a new company in which Yandex and Uber will have 59% and 37% stakes respectively
Uber has agreed to merge its ride-sharing business in Russia with local rival Yandex, Reuters reported today (13 July). The two companies will combine their operations in Russia as well as in Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus and Kazakhstan into a new company.
