Audi to update software on 850,000 diesel vehicles to improve their emissions
Automaker’s retrofit program covers cars equipped with 6-cylinder and 8-cylinder EU5/EU6 diesel engines
German luxury automaker Audi announced on Friday (21 July) that a total of up to 850,000 cars in Europe and other markets (outside the United States and Canada) with 6-cylinder and 8-cylinder diesel engines (V6/V8 TDI, EU5/EU6) will get new software that will further improve their emissions in real driving conditions beyond the current legal requirements.
