New app provides several driver assistance systems to millions of vehicles equipped with Android-based in-vehicle systems or whose drivers own Android phones

Nexar has developed a driving safety application (app) using the Qualcomm Snapdragon Neural Processing Engine software development kit (NPE SDK), the company said in a press release on 25 July. The new app provides several driver assistance systems including real-time forward collision warnings, to millions of vehicles equipped with Android-based in-vehicle systems or whose drivers own Android phones.
