Continental develops new camera platform for vehicles
New camera platform offers higher image resolution of up to 8 megapixels and improved night vision characteristics
Continental has developed a new multi-function camera platform, MFC 500, for use in various advanced driver assistance system (ADAS), the company said in a press release on 25 July. The new-generation camera platform offer higher image resolutions of up to 8 megapixels and improved night vision characteristics. It also offers increased aperture angle of up to 125 degrees enabling easier detection of cross-traffic objects.
