Denso to invest USD75.5 million in two US facilities to drive product innovation
Japanese supplier is revamping R&D facilities in US to develop future mobility solutions
Denso plans to invest USD75.5 million to expand its presence in North America, the Japanese supplier said in a press release on 31 July. Denso International America (DIAM), its North American regional headquarters in Southfield, Michigan (the United States) will receive the majority of the investment—USD70 million. The investment will help Denso revamp its research and development (R&D) facilities at the headquarters to develop future mobility solutions, especially in the area of automotive safety, cybersecurity and autonomous driving. The investment is expected to create 120 new jobs over the next three years.
