Garmin Q2 net income up 6% y/y to USD171 million
Contracting PND demand impacting Garmin’s performance in Auto business
Garmin has reported a 6.1% year-over-year (y/y) increase in net income to USD171 million for the second quarter ended 1 July 2017 as sales improved marginally to USD816.9 million, the Switzerland-based company said in a press release on 2 August. The company reported 1.5% y/y growth in operating income to USD274.5 million.
