Korea Fair Trade Commission approves Mobileye’s acquisition by Intel

Tender offer to expire on 7 August and not on 11 August as announced earlier

The Korea Fair Trade Commission (KFTC) has cleared Intel’s planned acquisition of Mobileye, the US-based chipmaker said in a press release last week. The Korean antitrust watchdog approved the previously announced tender offer by Intel’s wholly owned subsidiary Cyclops Holdings to acquire all outstanding ordinary shares of the Israel-based company.
