Renesas begins shipment of AGL-compliant R-Car SOC starter kit for 2018 Toyota Camry
New Camry is Toyota’s first vehicle to feature AGL- compliant software for its infotainment system
Renesas Electronics has started volume shipment of its R-Car system-on-chip (SOC), incorporating Automotive Grade Linux (AGL)-based software, to Toyota for the all-new 2018 model year Camry sedan, the company said in a press release on 7 August. The new Camry is Toyota’s first vehicle to feature AGL-compliant software for its infotainment system.
