US chipmaker acquires 84% of outstanding ordinary shares of Mobileye in cash tender offer
Intel has officially completed the acquisition of Mobileye, the company said in a press release on 8 August. The US-based chipmaker concluded the cash tender offer by acquiring 84% of outstanding ordinary shares of Israel-based technology company, which specializes in solutions for advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and autonomous driving. Intel made the tender offer through its wholly owned subsidiary Cyclops Holdings.
