Bosch, u-blox, Mitsubishi Electric and Geo++ join forces to develop GNSS positioning services
JV aims to offer affordable GNSS positioning services for automotive, consumer and industrial markets
Bosch has joined hands with u-blox, Mitsubishi Electric and Geo++ to form a joint venture (JV) to develop high precision Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) positioning services for various applications including automotive, the company said in a press release on 8 August. The JV, Sapcorda Services GmbH, will offer affordable GNSS positioning services via internet and satellite broadcast and will enable accurate GNSS positioning at centimeter level. The services will be offered to high volume automotive, consumer and industrial markets and will be delivered in public, open format.
