Siemens to build eHighway in Germany
eHighway to feature overhead charging lines to supply electricity for the electric drive of a hybrid truck
Siemens has won an order from the German state of Hesse to build an overhead contact line for electrified freight transport on a 10-kilometer stretch of autobahn, the company announced in a press release on 11 August.
