ACM's autonomous vehicle testing ground in Michigan to start operations in December
Project cost is estimated to be around USD110 million
The American Center of Mobility (ACM) expects to begin testing autonomous driving vehicles on its upcoming facility in Ypsilanti, Michigan (United States) by December this year, The Detroit News reported on 15 August. While the organization hopes to commence testing autonomous vehicles on a two and an half mile highway test loop on the historic Willow Run facility by end of this year, it expects a second testing facility representing urban driving conditions to begin operations by the end of 2019.
