Mazda recalls 80,000 vehicles in North America to fix Takata-supplied airbags
Recall involves CX-7, CX-9 and Mazda6 models
Japanese automaker Mazda is recalling 80,000 vehicles in North America to replace faulty airbag inflators supplied by Takata, Associated Press reported on 15 August. The latest recalls cover front passenger airbag inflators on certain 2007 through 2009 and 2012 CX-7, CX-9 and Mazda6 models. According to the report, the recalls also include recall of some airbag inflators for second time.
