Hyundai MnSOFT to supply HD maps for self-driving vehicles

Hyundai plans to deploy self-driving vehicles during the 2018 Winter Olympic in Pyeongchang (South Korea), scheduled to be held in February next year, the etnews reported earlier this month. The self-driving vehicles will be used for ferrying people between Seoul and the Olympic site, a distance of 126 kilometers. The vehicles will use high-precision, three-dimensional (3D) map, with less than 10 centimeter (CM) of margin of error, to help such vehicles navigate safely.
