Audi partners with Alta Devices to integrate solar cells in panoramic glass roofs of EVs
First prototype of EV featuring panoramic glass roof is expected to be built by end of this year
Audi has announced a collaboration with Alta Devices, a subsidiary of China-based Hanergy Thin Film Power Group, to integrate thin-film solar cells into panoramic glass roofs of Audi’s electric vehicle (EV), the German carmaker said in a press release today (23 August). The collaboration is expected to help Audi increase range of its future EVs.
