Virtual Vehicle test autonomous car on public road in Austria
First organization in Austria to receive permission to test autonomous car on public roads
Virtual Vehicle, an Austria-based research and development center working on future mobility, tested an autonomous car on public roads in the country, according to a blog posted by NVIDIA. The autonomous test car was powered by NVIDIA’s DRIVE PX computing platform. The test car, a Ford Mondeo Hybrid also features the latest steer-by-wire and brake-by-wire systems as well as driver assistance systems.
