Toyota forms ‘Connected Technologies’ group to deliver new technologies in Toyota, Lexus vehicles
New group will have 100 members from the automaker’s existing teams in R&D, connected vehicles and information technology
Toyota Motor North America (TMNA) plans to establish a new dedicated group to deliver enhanced user experience and new technologies in Toyota and Lexus vehicles, the US subsidiary of Toyota said in a press release on 28 August. The new group, called ‘Connected Technologies’, will have 100 employees, from the automaker’s existing teams in research and development (R&D), connected vehicles and information technology.
