The idea of ‘self-driving’ vehicles does sound impressive especially when we are able to witness glimpses of this technology in some of the modern day cars with the help of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). The fact that we are able to not only imagine but also physically witness this technology being put to use by both conventional and unconventional companies corroborates how far we have come to living this dream. Living in the ‘automated’ age, we are gradually moving on to the ‘autonomous’ age.
