Autoliv to supply 77GHz radar systems to Geely for autonomous driving
Second supply contract for 77GHz in two weeks
Autoliv has won a contract from Chinese automaker Geely to develop and supply 77GHz high-resolution radar systems for autonomous driving, the Sweden-based supplier said in a press release today (14 September). According to Autoliv, its radars results in better detection points, leading to improved ability for vehicle to understand free space.
