Wipro opens automotive center of excellence in Romania
New center to help the Indian IT firm deliver embedded software solutions for global and European customers
Wipro has established an automotive center of excellence in Timisoara (Romania), the Indian firm specializing in information technology (IT) said in a press release last week. The new center will help the company deliver embedded software solutions for its global and European customers. The company plans to hire both experienced technology professionals and engineering graduates from the local universities to work in emerging automotive fields of in-vehicle infotainment, instrument cluster display, telematics, connected cars and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).
