Ford, Mahindra enter three-year strategic partnership

Companies plan to collaborate on areas such as product development, sourcing, electrification, connected vehicles and mobility services

Ford has formed a partnership with India-based Mahindra Group to collaborate in areas such as product development, sourcing, electrification, connected vehicles and mobility services, the US-based automaker said in a press release on 18 September. The partnership will leverage Ford’s global reach and product development capability and Mahindra’s scale in India and its successful operating model. Under the partnership, teams from both partners will collaborate for a period of three years. The two partners will take a call on further extension of collaboration at the end of three year period.
