Yandex launches voice-controlled solution for car multimedia systems
Company has already secured contracts to supply Yandex.Auto to Toyota, JLR, AvtoVAZ and Kamaz
Yandex has launched Yandex.Auto, a voice-controlled solution for connected car multimedia systems, the company said in a press release on 19 September. The system, powered by Yandex’s stack of speech technologies, enables the car’s multimedia systems to respond to driver’s voice commands. Drivers can interact with Yandex.Auto to plan a route, follow directions, choose background music, switch radio stations, check weather and search for nearest gas stations while maintaining their focus on road while driving.
