Tesla has not committed to work with us on self-driving chip, says Global Foundries
Electric carmaker currently uses NVIDIA technology in its Autopilot 2.0
Global Foundries has denied media reports that it is collaborating with Tesla on developing a chip for self-driving cars, Reuters reported on 21 September. “Tesla has not committed to working with us on any autonomous driving technology or product,” a spokesperson from Global Foundries said in an email reply to Reuters.
