General Motors (GM) unveils next-generation Ecotec engines for Chinese market
New engines apply dual port injection to optimize combustion, adopt 12 core technologies to reduce structural noise and vibration
General Motors (GM) has unveiled two next-generation turbocharged engines, Ecotec 1.0T and 1.3T, for the Chinese market, the automaker said in a press release last week. The Ecotec 1.0T generates maximum power of 92kW (123.4hp) and torque of 170Nm, while the Ecotec 1.3T delivers maximum power of 120kW (160.9hp) and torque of 230Nm.
