Denso to invest USD1 billion in US plant
Investment will expand multiple production lines to produce advanced safety, connectivity and electrification products
Denso plans to invest USD1 billion for capacity expansion at its Maryville manufacturing plant in Tennessee, the United States, the Japanese supplier announced in a press release on 6 October. The investment will enable the company to expand multiple production lines to produce advanced safety, connectivity and electrification products for hybrids and electric vehicles (EVs). The investment is expected to create 1,000 new jobs in production and support, including technicians and engineers.
