Velodyne quadruples production for Lidar sensors to meet strong demand
US-based Lidar specialist doubles the number of its full-time employees in the past six months
Velodyne has more than quadrupled -production of its Lidar sensors to meet growing demand from automakers, suppliers and technology companies working on self-driving cars, the company said in a press release on 10 October. In order to ramp up production, the US-based Lidar specialist doubled the number of its full-time employees in past six months.
