Great Wall Motor confirms talks but says nothing has been finalized yet

BMW is in talks with Chinese automaker Great Wall Motor for introducing production of MINI brand vehicles in China, Reuters reported last week. The two automakers are looking to establish a joint-venture which could focus on electric vehicles (EVs), the report said. “We are in discussions with Great Wall about setting up a joint venture to produce cars in Changshu,” a BMW executive told Reuters.
