Lyft Navigation saves drivers and riders from unnecessary inconvenience of switching between apps

Lyft has unveiled ‘Lyft Navigation’, which is based on Google Maps, to enable faster and smoother navigation, the US-based ride-sharing service provider said in a blog last week. With the new solution, Lyft driver will be available to access Google Maps directly in the Lyft Driver app and will no longer be required to switch to a separate navigation system. Lyft is currently rolling out Lyft Navigation on the Lyft Driver app for Android, and has plans to make the product available for iOS-based smartphone soon.
