Significant work remains before Ford can launch autonomous cars in 2021, says Argo AI CEO

While Argo AI has made some impressive progress, the company CEO admits it is still very much in the early days of making self-driving car a reality

Bryan Salesky, CEO of artificial intelligence (AI) start-up Argo AI, which is helping Ford developing a highly autonomous car, has indicated that a significant amount of work remains to be done before it can help the US automaker bring the autonomous car to market in 2021. In a blog posted on Medium on Monday, Salesky, who founded Argo AI last year, provided details of challenges that remain to develop autonomous vehicles.
