LG, Qualcomm to collaborate on developing next-generation connected car solutions
Two companies establish a research center in Seoul to jointly develop 5G and C-V2X for autonomous vehicles
LG Electronics has teamed up with Qualcomm to jointly develop next-generation connected car solutions, the South Korean company said in a press release last week. The two companies will set up a research center in LG Electronics’ Science Park in Seoul, South Korea, to develop fifth-generation (5G) communication network and cellular-vehicle-to-everything (C-V2X) technologies for future autonomous vehicles.
