ITW’s Q3 net income up 19.4% y/y to USD640 million on higher sales
Expects full-year 2017 organic growth of 2-3%
Illinois Tools Works (ITW) has reported 19.6% year-over-year (y/y) increase in net income to USD640 million in the third quarter ended 30 September, the US-based diversified supplier said in a press release on 23 October. The company reported strong growth in net income driven mainly by 4% y/y increase in total revenue to USD3.5 billion. Higher revenue also helped ITW to record 18.9% y/y growth in operating income to USD961 million and operating margin of 26.6%.
