Tokyo Motor Show 2017: Omron to present sensor solutions for autonomous driving
Japanese supplier will also showcase solutions for connected cars and electric vehicles
Omron will showcase its advance sensing technology for autonomous driving at the Tokyo Motor Show, which is starting this week in Tokyo, Japan, the company said in a press release on 24 October. The Japan-based supplier will display artificial intelligence (AI)-based driver monitoring technology, which detects the degree of driver concentration. According to the company, its driver monitoring technology is capable of sensing the state of the driver even when he or she is wearing sunglasses or mask.
