Argo AI acquires Lidar specialist Princeton Lightwave
Ford committed USD1-billion investment in ArgoAI for next five years
ArgoAI has acquired Princeton Lightwave, a company specializing in Lidar solutions, to accelerate its autonomous vehicle development program, according to blog post on Medium by Bryan Salesky, CEO of the company. The acquired company, founded in 2003, as a spin-off from Sarnoff Corporation, has expertise in development and commercialization of Lidar, a key sensing technology used in self-driving cars.
