BMW, Daimler, Ford, Volkswagen form charging network JV 'Ionity'
JV to install 400 HPC stations in the region by 2020
Four automakers BMW, Daimler, Ford and the Volkswagen Group with Audi and Porsche, have formed a joint venture (JV) ‘Ionity’ to set up High-Power Charging (HPC) network for electric vehicles (EVs) across Europe, the automakers announced in a joint press release on 3 November.
