Two-third of US vehicles with defective Takata airbag still not fixed

The US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has rejected a petition by Ford to delay recalling of about 3 million vehicles with potentially defective airbag inflators to conduct additional testing, Reuters reported last week.
