Honda mulls launching affordable EV in India
Japanese automaker expects two-third of its global sales by 2030 to come from electrified vehicles
Honda is exploring launching an affordable electric vehicle (EV) in India, ETAuto reported on Tuesday (21 November). The company’s Indian subsidiary Honda Cars India Limited (HCIL) is evaluating developing country-specific electric vehicle (BEV) addressing the issue of affordability and its suitability under India traffic conditions, the report said.
