India's Delhi government puts process to procure 500 electric buses on fast-track
The state government announced plans to procure electric buses last week as part of its short-term plan to fight rising pollution in the city
The Delhi government has put the process to procure 500 electric buses for plying on the city roads on the fast track, according to the Press Trust of India (PTI). The state transport minister Kailash Gahlot along with the department officials have met automakers and also inspected an electric bus.
