Schaeffler to invest USD30.9 million in powertrain component capacity expansion in India
Investment includes establishment of a manufacturing facility and R&D center
German automotive supplier Schaeffler has announced plans to invest INR2 billion (USD30.9 million) in expansion of its operations in Talegaon, near Pune in Maharashtra (India), the company said in a press release today (27 November). The expansion includes a new investment in a new manufacturing facility and research and development (R&D) center within its existing premises in Pune, operated by INA Bearings.
