Nissan, DeNA introduce ‘Easy Ride’ self-driving ride-sharing service in Japan
Companies plan to begin public field test of service in Japan in March 2018
Nissan and DeNA have unveiled a new self-driving ride-sharing service called ‘Easy Ride’ in Japan today, the Japanese automaker said in a press release. The Japan-based companies will conduct public field test of the self-driving ride-sharing service in the Minatomirai district of Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture (Japan) from 5 March to 18 March 2018. Nissan and DeNA have started recruiting participants for the planned public field test, beginning today through 15 January through Easy Ride website.
