Honda partners AI specialist SenseTime to conduct R&D on autonomous driving
Joint research program aims to leverage Chinese firm’s expertise in moving recognition technologies to develop advanced automated driving technology
Honda’s research and development (R&D) subsidiary, Honda R&D Co, has entered a five-year contract with China-based artificial intelligence (AI) specialist SenseTime to conduct joint R&D in the area of AI technologies for automated driving, the Japanese automaker said in a press release on 7 December.
