Nissan to begin electric car-sharing service in Japan next month
Japanese automaker has partnered with ‘Nissan Car Rental Solution’ for its maiden electric car-sharing project in Japan
Nissan is planning to start electric car-sharing service in Japan from 15 January, the automaker said in a press release today (8 December). The service, named ‘e-share mobi’, will use all-new Nissan LEAF electric car and Note e-Power hybrid electric car. Nissan will initially offer e-share mobi car-sharing service in about 30 stations including Tokyo, Kanagawa, Shizuoka, Osaka, Hyogo, Kyoto, Shiga, Nara, Wakayama and other prefectures in Japan, before expanding to other regions throughout the country.
