Toyota, Panasonic explore collaboration on joint automotive prismatic battery business
Automaker expects partnership to help it achieve its 2030 goals for electrified vehicles
Japanese automaker Toyota is considering developing electric vehicle (EV) batteries with Panasonic. In a joint press conference in Japan Today, Toyota announced that it has entered into an agreement with Panasonic to study the feasibility of setting up a joint automotive prismatic battery business.
