SAIL’s board approves proposal to form automotive steel JV with ArcelorMittal in India
Companies expect to sign definitive agreement in due course, subject to financial viability
On 12 December, the board of state-owned Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) approved the proposal to form an automotive steel joint venture (JV) with ArcelorMittal in India, the company said in a regulatory filing.
